Founded in 2019, Biked is rethinking the way people have their bikes serviced in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Co-founder David Hopson had a passion for fixing up bikes in his garage and began to see that there was an opportunity to take his skill set to the public market. "What if we created a new way for West Michigan residents to have their Bikes serviced?" A faster, more streamlined, user-friendly approach. Similar to the feeling of using a tool like InstaCart, Shipt, or Uber.
Biked opened its first location on Roger B Chaffee Memorial Blvd in what is traditionally known as an industrial and manufacturing district. This location allowed Biked to strategically position their expenses lower, be easily accessible for customers, and be centrally located for picking up bikes.
With the shop in place, it was time to share Biked’s vision with the Grand Rapids cycling community.
Biked teamed up with Launch Kit to work on a full-stack approach to creating synchronized marketing.
These essential four marketing elements have allowed us to develop Biked’s business presence across Google, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and, of course, their website.
With the Launch Kit graphics, web, and content teams working in sync, we are able to create a consistent brand experience across these various customer touchpoints. Someone might see a Biked marketing flyer, look them up on Instagram, see a feed full of authentic, up-to-date content, click the link in the bio to learn more about Biked’s services, and then decide to book a bike tune-up online. That is a connecting marketing system at work.
We meet with David Hopson and the Biked team three times per month. At the beginning of the month, we do a pulse meeting to review last month's analytics and discuss business priorities. From there, we get together twice to create content at their shop, around town, or at events. This content is then used for their social media profiles and on their website.
