They had us interested when we first read the name - “Protein Pints - A pint of ice cream packed with 30 grams of protein and only 360 calories. Started by two co-founders in their 20’s here in Grand Rapids, Michigan."
This is a look into Launch Kit’s partnership with Protein Pints.
Protein Pints was founded in 2020 by Michael Meadows and Paul Reiss, a dynamic duo from Michigan who had a passion for fitness, business and solving problems.
The product was first developed in collaboration with Michigan State University's dairy program. Today, (Apr 5, 2024) you can find Protein Pints at Bridge Street Market and soon, they’ll be on the shelves of your local Meijer. The opportunities are endless for the Protein Pints team. Let’s take a look at how Launch Kit is here to help.
Launch Kit first began working with Protein Pints in 2023 by building their website.
The goals for the site were as follows:
Launch Kit Web Designer, Mackenzie Broekstra, went to work designing a dark, enticing, motivating site that encompassed the protein pints goals, values and aesthetic.
The Protein Pints website is an ongoing asset that we work on. This past quarter, we’ve been working on updating/adding new products to the site to site so that customers know what to expect when looking for Protein Pints at a retailer near them. To make finding Protein Pints a breeze, we even integrated a store locator tool.
How about some photo and video material? Let’s make it happen. As you can imagine, with a product, and an entrepreneurial start up like Protein Pints, the opportunity for content is endless. We honestly struggled the most with where to begin.
Let’s start with a local event:
Launch Kit’s videographer, Noah Wyn, joined the Protein Pints team at the 14th Annual MSU Winter Tailgate event at 20 Monroe in Grand Rapids Michigan. Protein Pints had the opportunity to sample their product to over 100 people in attendance. Co-founder, Michael Meadows, hopped on stage to do his thing sharing the message behind the brand. It was a home-run. During the event, Michael announced that Protein Pints is coming to a Meijer near you in April 2024!
Product based content:
This time around, we’re bringing out the lights, microphones, a few different cameras and even a few models. This is a product-based photo and video production day.
Our goals for the day were the following:
Michael, Paul, Chris, Nate, Morgan, Noah and Kevin came together to pull off this incredibly productive day of work. Fun was had, ice cream was eaten, and a serious supply of content was produced. What’s great about this style material is the Protein Pints team will be able to use it across various digital and print touch points like the website, social media, ads, flyers, promotions, etc.
The road ahead is an ongoing partnership between Launch Kit and Protein Pints where we work on building out the website and producing photo and video content. At Launch Kit, we’re incredibly proud to be aligned with a brand like Protein Pints who is making such a positive impact on their community.
Oh, and we may be enjoying our fare share of ice cream along the way ;)
