The Douglas Lakeshore Association is a group of community members working to make Douglas, Michigan the best it can be. Douglas locals founded the association in 1951 to address the concerns of the day and plan for the future of the area. The mission has remained strong over the years and they continue to provide value through social events and local information.
President of the Association, Bill Lefley, first reached out to Launch Kit to inquire about a website project for the association. They had a site currently but were in need of a professional update. We used the opportunity to start fresh with a new build using Webflow, their previous site was on Weebly. When starting the project, the DLSA board saw the value in a logo and color palette refresh as well. Something modern, laid back, and friendly that matched the vibe of their new website.
The project has been a great success so far and we continue to enjoy our relationship with the DLSA. They are set up on our Business Pro website plan, so the Launch Kit team remains in contact to update their website. Yes, we did visit the beach for some research and development.
